The Svava block, where Hotel Svava is located, origins back to 19th-century Uppsala. At that time, there were only warehouse buildings and a few residential houses in the block.

Today, the Svava block is a vibrant neighborhood in what has become the heart of Uppsala. In the block, you'll find a shopping mall, shops, restaurants, and a parking garage where you can park and take the elevator directly up to Hotel Svava. The proximity to Uppsala Central Station is incredibly convenient, as it's just 1 minute away, just across the street!
